NOTICE TO CONSCRIPTS OF 1809, 1810, 1811 AND 1812.
The PREFECT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF VAUCLUSE, BARON OF THE EMPIRE, KNIGHT OF THE IMPERIAL ORDER OF THE REUNION, Gives notice that His Majesty the Emperor has deigned to authorize the administration, as velites, in the second light horse regiment- lances of his guard, the conscripts of 1809, 1810, 1811 and 1812.
To be admitted to this corps, one must be one meter 732 millimeters tall (5 feet four inches), be of a robust constitution, and have, through oneself or one's parents, the means to pay a annual pension of three hundred francs.
Young people who want to take advantage of this favor must report to the Prefecture before February 9.
After this period, they would no longer be admitted. Done in Avignon, January 26, 1813.
