Brass frame. Guard with three branches forming a shell decorated with oak and laurel branches « 8676 ». Short-tailed cap decorated with an oak branch, laurel and a palmette. Brass filigree horn handle. Straight blade with gutters, length 77 cm, back signed "Manufre d'armes de Châtlt 7bre 1884 - Adjt d'Infrie mle 1945". Natural buffalo tie. Steel scabbard with a bail bracelet.
