Brass frame. Four-branched guard, main branch registered “37749”. Montmorency-style straight blade with heel and gutters, length 92.5 cm, engraved on the back "Mre d'armes de Chatt 7bre 1875 = Dragon mle 1854 = tmé 1882" (the end of the engraving was imposed after manufacture of the sabre, which is normal since the saber was manufactured in 1875 and the transformation by removing the second bail ring made from 1882). Natural buffalo tie. Steel scabbard with a bail bracelet.
Scabbard case in rubber canvas closing at the top with four holes with brass eyelets on each side and a leather reinforcement at the bottom.
Brown leather wrist strap with receipt stamp on the cord, dated 12 4 1916.

Saber in very good condition, scabbard to be lightly cleaned, cachou canvas case in fairly good condition with traces of punctures and tears at the top, wrist strap in very good condition.
