Brass frame. Guard with three branches forming a shell decorated with a medallion with three fleur-de-lys framed by laurel branches, placed on a radiating background with the initials “I H S” and a ribbon bearing the inscription “FOUR MON ROY”. Wooden handle entirely filigree brass. Long tail cap in the shape of a lion's head. White blade with hollow sides, slightly curved, length 78 cm. Scarlet cloth tie. Black patent leather scabbard with three brass fittings with edges cut into festoons, bail eyebolts and brass rings. Chaplet with button for wearing on the belt.
