Madder cloth headdress, H 4 cm at the front. Headband in black cloth, H 3 cm, braids in flat silver braids, a braid is sewn horizontally above the headband indicating the rank, a braid sewn vertically at the front, at the back and on each side of the headdress, cap edged with braid and its center garnished with a Hungarian knot composed of a flat braid. False chinstrap in silver trimmings, half-spherical buttons in silver-plated brass. Round visor in black patent leather, lined with a green waxed sheepskin, lined with a folded leather band on the outer edge. Interior cover in black canvas with headband in black waxed leather, the upper edge of which is decorated with hot stamping; on each side of the headband is sewn a black lacquered iron button. Cap lined inside with black canvas gilded with the owners' initials "C.P.".

Good condition, a few small moth holes, slight wear and missing at the bottom of the headband at the back, traces of the crest originally sewn to the front of the headband but missing.
