Gilt bronze frame signed under the keyboard “ROLART A PARIS”. Guard with two side branches and narrow top decorated with laurel leaves and acanthus leaves, quillon. Crown with short-tailed bulges. Wooden handle covered in black waxed calfskin with brass filigree. Curved blade with hollow sides, length 77 cm; it is signed on the heel “Manufre Rle de Châtellerault 7bre 1847”. Scarlet cloth tie. Black patent leather scabbard with two gilded brass fittings.

Good condition, gilding well present, a fold in the scabbard with a few chips to the varnish, blade with very little oxidation.
