Dark blue cloth kepi just like the headband. Silver braid in the shape of a flat braid. Headband trimmed at the front with a flaming grenade embroidered on a sheet of the same color as the headband, in threads, cannetilles and silver sequins. False chinstrap in flat silver braid sewn at the bottom of the headband. Round visor in soft, fully waxed black leather. Inner headdress composed of a dark brown waxed sheepskin headband. Cap lined with scarlet waxed sheepskin.
Very early shaped kepi with a total height of approximately 14 cm including the headband with a height of 4.5 cm.

Fairly good condition, some moth holes, tears and missing parts at the back and bottom of the headband, interior leather headband half missing, silk headdress missing.
