Typical copy made around 1800-1820.
All metal parts in steel, pommel with a beak topped with a ball, with a long crown tail and in the middle of it, overflowing shields on a fusee. From its mouth comes the guard branch, trigger guard at its top for the passage of the strap.
Large, smooth guard lugs, quillon of the guard branch in the shape of a spiral volute. Smooth ferrule.
Wooden fuse covered in leather, with twelve flutes.
Curved steel blade, with one edge and a groove on more than two thirds. Flared tip called "yelman" with false edge, adding to the cutting power of the weapon and in particular to its pushing capabilities.
Blade length: 91 cm
Steel scabbard with two bail bracelets.

Saber in very good condition. Rust on one side of the sheath, easily cleanable.
