Leather barrel (H 10.5 cm at the front, 14 cm at the back) covered with scarlet cloth, lined at the top with black patent leather 1.5 cm high, and at the bottom with a 2 cm high black patent leather bourdalou. On both sides, two 1.5 cm wide black patent leather braids are sewn in a V, framing a scarlet lacquered brass vent at the top. Oval cap in black waxed leather. Round visor in black patent leather (width 4.5 cm). Brass front plate stamped in relief with a flaming bomb surmounting a ribbon bearing the inscription “SCHOOL SPECIAL MILITARY” (H 8 cm, width 11.5 cm), hot stamped below the number “2”. Tinplate roundel stamped with rays, tricolor lacquered, diameter 4.7 cm. Interior headdress composed of a black waxed leather band, registered on the leather strap at the bottom "1128" and its regimental stamps (difficult to read).
Double scarlet wool pompom.
