Box composed of the barrel, two large circles, two small rolling circles, the gong, the ropes and the tie rods.
Brass barrel. H 18 cm, diameter 38.5 cm. It is placed 7.5 cm from the bottom, a copper striker carrying an iron screw fitted with its iron nut, intended to tighten the stamp on the skin. On the side opposite this striker, a brass pin is placed intended to secure the end of the gong. This brass part is hallmarked by the French Manufacture of Saint-Étienne Armes et Cycles.
Large ash wood body circles pierced with 11 holes at equal distances, dark blue lacquered. Each circle is 4.4 cm high and 5 mm thick.
Body skins in parchment calfskin proportioned to the size of the body. The timbre one is thinner than the drum one.
Ropes which are used to stretch the hemp skin laced in a zig zag on the barrel, passing through the holes in the circles. The circumference of the rope is 5 mm.
Black waxed buffalo pulls 2.5 cm wide at the top, 4.4 cm at the bottom, towards the ends, by 4.5 cm in length. They are used as runners to tighten the ropes.
Chopsticks and chopstick holders.
Wooden sticks with brass fittings, length 41.3 cm.
Black patent leather harness with brass buckles, width 6 cm.
