“The Royal Guard will be united with Our Imperial Guard”. This is how, on July 10, 1810, the incorporation of a few hundred thousands of Dutch origin into the ranks of the most prestigious Corps of that time began.
Transformed into spearmen and dressed in red and blue, they were quickly given the nickname “Red Lancers”.

An authenticity certificate of the item including the description published on the site, the period, the sale price, accompanied by one or more color photographs is automatically provided for any item priced over 130 euros. Below this price, each certificate is charged 5 euros.
