Silver kit presented in a wooden case covered in green morocco with green velvet interior dividers. Lid with hot stamped initials “J.B.” and signature on the underside of the case in gold letters “GARNESSON AU PALAIS ROYAL. 22”.
Kit consisting of a silver tumbler engraved with initials, a faceted steel corkscrew, a small spoon not of the model, a small knife with mother-of-pearl plates not of the model, a small handle probably a whisk with the end missing, a monogrammed bone salt and pepper shaker, a monogrammed spoon and fork with a folding handle.
The silver utensils are hallmarked with the Paris neck brace of 1838.

NOTE :
The GARNESSON house, located in the galleries of the Palais Royal in Paris, was active as a necessities merchant during the first half of the 19th century with Nicolas-Jacques Garnesson then his son Hippolyte from 1824. The house worked with goldsmiths, perfumers and cabinetmakers under the Empire then under the Restoration.
