Entirely in brass. The base of the bomb is stamped on the front and back with a relief molding. Mobile visor stamped in relief with two crossed axes linked together by a ribbon. Neck cover surrounded by a rush folded astride its outer edge. Crest with fins stamped with thirteen gadroons with mask decorated with a flaming bomb. Black hair caterpillar. Brass front plate stamped with a shield with pomegranate framed with oak and laurel branches; in the lower part, axes and spears and in the upper part a ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS DE St LUPICIN”, all topped with flames. Brass chin straps composed of two round rosettes stamped with gadroons in relief, and two brass chin straps stamped with scalloped scales. Tubular pen holder with square section decreasing towards the bottom.
Total height of the helmet 35 cm.
