Entirely in brass. Crest stamped with eleven decreasing gadroons. Front plate stamped in relief with the imperial eagle on a radiating background with ribbon bearing the inscription “Srs POMPIERS DE LEVIER”. Brass plume holder with square section decreasing downwards. Visor and neck cover surrounded by a brass ring. Chinstraps composed of a leather chin strap covered with fifteen brass scales cut alternately with two and three festoons, ending with a round rosette molded in relief with a bomb fixing screw in the center. Right chin strap ending with a leather strap, left chin guard ending with a brass buckle with pin. Soft leather chin strap.
