Frame entirely in gilded brass. Right guard with double straight quillons decorated with oak branches ending in pomegranates; cruise representing on the front a crown made up of three towers, and on the other side laurel leaves. One-piece handle in the shape of a rooster's head. Straight blade with hollow sides, signed on the heel: "... N° 574 A PARIS" (Coullier erased). Black patent leather scabbard with two large brass fittings embossed with palmettes, laurel branches and foliage, cover with button for wearing on the belt.

Good condition, mount and scabbard fittings having retained their gilding, blade with oxidation from use, varnished leather of the scabbard slightly peeling. The cruise was changed under the Restoration for reassignment to a city national guard.
