In hard white earthenware. Emblem of the squadron, uncrowned eagle with “CENT GARDES” inscription, printed in blue, on either side of the gravy boat. Attributed to Le Guerriez or Guerrier brothers.
H 13 cm, width of the base 16 cm, length of the base 25.8 cm, length of the sauce boat 20.2 cm at the top.

PROVENANCE: Gravy boat from the Tranchard family, one of whose ancestors was the guard Lesage.
