In silver, from the Christofle house. Hallmarked “Christofle” “63” and the master goldsmith’s mark. It is engraved on the back with the uncrowned imperial eagle and the inscription “CENT GUARDS”. Spoon length 27 cm.

NOTE: This stew spoon was presented in the Exhibition “CENT-GUARDS FOR AN EMPEROR, THE ELITE SQUADRON OF NAPOLEON III” which took place from March 6 to May 2, 2004 at the Historical Figurine Museum of Compiègne, under number 191, and reproduced on pages 200 and 334 of the work “CENT-GUARDS POUR UN EMPEREUR” published for this exhibition.
