In silver, from the Christofle house. Hallmarked "Christofle" "63" and the master silversmith's hallmark. Engraved on the back with the uncrowned imperial eagle and the inscription "CENT GARDES." Spoon length 28.2 cm.

NOTE: This ragoût spoon was featured in the Exhibition "HUNDRED GUARDS FOR AN EMPEROR, THE ELITE SQUADRON OF NAPOLEON III" which took place from March 6 to May 2, 2004 at the Museum of Historical Figurines in Compiègne, under number 191, and reproduced on pages 200 and 334 of the book "HUNDRED GUARDS FOR AN EMPEROR" published for this exhibition.
