Silver fork and spoon from Christofle hallmarked “Christofle” “63” and master goldsmith’s mark.
These two cutlery settings are engraved with an uncrowned imperial eagle with the inscription “CENT GARDES”.
Spoon length 21 cm, fork length 21 cm.
Knife from Maison Edmé Parisot. Ebony handle with insculpted oval medallion marked “CENT-GARDES”. Blade signed “TOURON PARISOT Seur FOUReur DES M. L’EMPEREUR RUE DE LA PAIX 24 PARIS”. Knife length 25 cm.

NOTE: This set was presented in the Exhibition “CENT-GUARDS FOR AN EMPEROR, THE ELITE SQUADRON OF NAPOLEON III” which took place from March 6 to May 2, 2004 at the Museum of Historical Figurine of Compiègne, under the n° 192-193-195, and reproduced pages 197-200-334 of the work “CENT-GUARDS POUR UN EMPEREUR” published for this exhibition.
