Brass frame. Three-pronged hilt marked “B” in a laurel wreath of J.G. Bick, inspector first class at the Klingenthal Manufacture 1812-1815, starred “K” of inspector J.I. Krantz, inspector 1812-1814 and “36”. Long-tailed cap. Calfskin-wrapped wooden handle with oval brass studs. Curved blade with hollow sides, 85 cm long, hallmarked “B” surrounded by a crown of pearls from Inspector Beaumaretz, 1803-1807; back of blade signed “Mfture du Klingenthal Coulaux Frères entreprs”. Natural buffalo tie. Steel scabbard with two bail bracelets with protruding bowl inlet fixed to the scabbard by means of a side screw.
