One-piece brass frame with one-arm guard hallmarked by the Versailles factory. Handle with 36 strands, molded quillon. Flat, slightly curved blade, length 59.2 cm; back of the blade marked “Manufre Rle du Klingenthal January 1815”; the blade bears the hallmarks of F.L. Lobstein, reviser from June 1811 to July 1821 "L", a "B" in a laurel leaf wreath of J.G. Bick, controller 1st class from May 1812 to August 1815, and a “B” under star of E.L. Borson, inspector from August 1814 to September 1816. Scarlet cloth tie. Black patent leather scabbard with two brass fittings, cover of the year XIII model with trigger guard for the passage of the leather tab.
