In hard porcelain, nets and squadron emblem, uncrowned eagle with “CENT GUARDS” inscription, printed in gold. Mark under the cup “1”. Attributed to Le Guerriez or Guerrier brothers.
D of the cup 9 cm. D of the saucer 13.5 cm.

Second Empire.
Good condition, chipped at the edge of the cup.
NOTE :
This model is rare, a coffee cup was presented in the exhibition “Cent-Gardes for an Emperor, the elite squadron of Napoleon III”, which took place from March 6 to May 2, 2004 at the Figurine Museum history of Compiègne, under number 245, it is reproduced on page 201 of the work “Cent-Gardes for an Emperor” published for this exhibition.
