OFFICER'S CARTRIDGE IN GREAT DRESS OF THE SQUADRON OF THE HUNDRED-GUARDS OF THE EMPEROR'S MILITARY HOUSEHOLD, model 1854, Second Empire. 28066
Rectangular box with a slightly trapezoidal shape in black patent leather (width at the top 15.3 cm, width at the bottom 14 cm, H 6.8 cm, depth 2.3 cm), the inside of the box has two compartments: each has 4 cartridge slots it is entirely made of blue leather. Leather tab covered with a gilded brass plate and lined with blue waxed calfskin (width at the top 16 cm, width at the bottom 16.5 cm, H 8.5 cm), brass framing ring (width 10 .8cm) stamped with oak branches, gilded brass plaque stamped with the large imperial arms (width of the plaque 5.8 cm, H 5 cm), attached to a silver metal glory (width of the glory 14 cm, H 6 .5 cm). Sides in gilded brass, rings for the banner in gilded brass.
Complete with its two carabiners for wearing on the belt of the foot service in gilded brass with blued steel spring. H 6.7 cm, width 1 cm.
