GIBERNE GREAT ATTIRE TROOP OF THE SQUADRON OF THE HUNDRED GUARDS OF THE EMPEROR'S MILITARY HOUSEHOLD, model 1854, Second Empire. 28068

Rectangular box with a slightly trapezoidal shape in black patent leather (width at the top 13.5 cm, width at the bottom 12.3 cm, H 7.4 cm, depth 2.2 cm), the inside of the box is double compartment: each has 4 cartridge slots. Black patent leather tab (width at the top 15 cm, width at the bottom 17.4 cm, H 9 cm), brass framing ring (width 1 cm), brass plaque stamped with large imperial arms (width the plaque 6 cm, H 5 cm), attached to a silver metal glory (width of the glory 14 cm, H 6.7 cm). The back of the box and the tab are lined with black sheepskin. Sides in gilded brass, hooks for the banner in gilded brass.
