French model, hilt with one branch decorated with a radiant sun. Olive-shaped pommel topped with an acorn, the face is decorated with an N against a background of a radiant sun and the back of the imperial crown against a background of a radiant sun. Donkey cruise decorated with an imperial eagle, a rocket in entirely copper filigree framed at the top and bottom by two ferrules decorated with a series of flowers. The guard tray (non-folding) stamped “AP”. Double quillon in the shape of a palmette.
Triangular blade signed on the heel “COULAUX ET CIE A KLINGENTHAL”, length 85.1 cm. Scarlet cloth tie.
Black patent leather scabbard with two brass fittings, clevis button for wearing on the belt.

Very good condition, accident at the bottom of the leather of the scabbard.
