Helmet made entirely of brass. Bomb on the neck brace topped with a crest decorated with oak branches, struck with a decreasing series of six gadroons. Mask hit with a flaming bomb. Each fin is attached to the bomb using three cone-head screws. Black hair caterpillar. Back band stamped with corollas of foliage. Movable visor richly decorated with crossed axes, flaming bomb, oak and laurel branches. Neck cover surrounded by a brass ring. Front plate stamped with a wreath of oak leaves, with its center two crossed axes, flaming pyre and bursting grenade, with a ribbon in the lower part bearing the inscription “COMne DE CHASSERICOURT”, in the upper part, a ribbon bearing the inscription “FIREFIGHTER”, this entire decoration is placed on a bundle of flags. In the upper part the front plate is stamped with the Gallic rooster on a radiant background. Plumet holder with square section decreasing slightly towards the bottom. Chinstraps each composed of a rosette stamped with gadroons in relief and a leather chin strap covered with a brass plate stamped with a series of scales in relief.
