Flag in dark blue cloth, 3 cm wide braid and silver soutaches. Cockade in tricolor trimmings (the white is in silver thread).
Front plate in gilded copper embossed with a radiant sun with the number “7” in silver metal.
Rosettes in gilded brass, stamped with lion's heads, chin straps with curb chain lined with a black waxed leather chin strap.
Inner headdress in red sheepskin cut into 11 wolf teeth (the inner silk lining is missing).
Falling scarlet horsehair plume with olive pompom.

Average condition, trimmings with oxidation from use, missing the silk lining of the inner cap, small dent at one of the edges of the visor, missing at the back of the inner cap. Plumet Troisième République.
