Cardboard body covered in dark blue cloth. Soutache on the sides and back in gold braid with black lacquered metal aerator. Golden lizard braid (H 2.1 cm). Bourdalou and black patent leather cap. Round visor, black varnished and green waxed on the inside with folded leather band on the outer edge.
Metal cockade embossed with a radiant sun and tricolor lacquered (diameter 3.9 cm) held to the body by means of a golden half-spherical button. Golden cannetille braid. Frontal badge in gilded brass in the shape of a flaming bomb (H of badge 5.9 cm). Interior headband in black waxed leather, gold-plated with iron on the upper part. Inner headdress in scarlet silk gilded with iron “MICHEL SPIQUEL & Cie PARIS 164 Rue St Honoré.164”.

Very good condition, slight oxidation of the golden trimmings, some wear to the bourdalou varnish.
