Entirely in brass. The base of the bomb is bordered at the front and back with a band stamped with oak leaves. Mobile visor stamped on a sandblasted background with two crossed axes with spears linked by a ribbon framed with oak branches, with a pyre in the upper part. Visor and neck cover with saddle-folded rush. Crest with fins stamped with ten gadroons separated by acanthus leaves and bordered with laurel branches, mask decorated with a flaming bomb. Brass front plate stamped and cut with an uncrowned imperial eagle holding the terrestrial globe in its claws, placed on a coat of arms decorated with two crossed axes and a flaming pyre, ribbon bearing the inscription “Srs POMPIERS DE BRUYÈRES”. Brass rosettes stamped with gadroons held in place using screws. Square section feather holder decreasing downwards. Black hair caterpillar.
