HELMET OF FIREFIGHTERS OF THE COMMUNE OF BULLES, type 1855, modified 1872, Third Republic. 24249
Entirely in brass, crest stamped with eleven gadroons, front plate stamped in relief with a shield bearing the coat of arms of the city of Bulles with a city crown in the upper part of the plate. On either side of the shield, palms and axes with laurel branches are stamped in relief, and a ribbon bearing the inscription “Srs POMPIERS DE BULLES”. Visor and neck cover surrounded by a folded brass bangle astride the outer edge. Chinstraps composed of a chin strap in soft leather covered in black velvet covered with a series of decreasing scales cut alternately into two and three festoons, round rosettes stamped with circular moldings. Tubular plume holder with square section decreasing downwards.

Fairly good condition, a few dents and dings, the end of one of the chin straps is broken (but present), the interior cap is missing.
