HELMET OF FIREFIGHTERS OF THE CITY OF LUNAY, type 1895, Third Republic.

Helmet made entirely of brass. Crest with protruding moldings decorated on the front with a grenade, fixed by an internal screw. Brass front plate stamped with a flaming grenade surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch and ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS DE LUNAY”. Tubular quill holder with square section. Inner cap in black waxed leather cut into eight wolf teeth. Black leather chin strap with steel buckle.
