Brass frame. Guard at a branch. Cruise engraved with a marine anchor, hallmarked “DUC”. Short-tailed cap. Wooden handle covered in black waxed calfskin, brass filigree. Curved blade with hollow sides, length 70.3 cm, engraved on each side “Imperial Guard” in a cartridge framed with marine anchors. Back engraved “Manuf de Klingenthal Coulaux Aine & Cie”. Natural leather tie. Black waxed leather scabbard with three brass fittings.
