Canon registered “F 33886”, hallmarked “J H” and two hallmarks “M” and “J” in circles, “M A”, dated “S 1874 / S 1879”. Barrel length 67.5 cm. Breech box marked “MANUFACTURE D'ARMES St Etienne M.80 / Mle 1866 - 74”, it carries on its lower part the trigger and the spring to which the trigger is linked. Mobile breech registered similarly to the barrel, composed of an operating part, forged with the operating lever, a sliding hammer whose cylinder is slightly concave and slightly refined. Bronzed barrel and slide. Steel rod. Walnut frame with long barrel registered similarly to the barrel, receipt stamp from the St Etienne Manufacture June 1874 and a second receipt stamp from January 1879. Brass fittings. Carabiner for attaching the strap.
