OFFICER'S SHAKO PLATE OF THE 41ST LINE INFANTRY REGIMENT, model 1806, First Empire. 27345
Diamond-shaped brass plate, H 12.2 cm, width 11 cm, bordered by a protruding molding. In the center is an imperial eagle stamped and cut in brass holding in its claws the sparkling spindle of Jupiter surmounted by a crown; it is fixed to the plate by means of five staples. At the bottom, the number “41” is cut out of brass and soldered. Plate pierced with two holes at the two side angles.
