DIVISION GENERAL'S TUNIC, model 1931, Third Republic. 26386-1
TUNIC model 1931 in dark blue, almost black satin cloth, closed on the chest with a row of nine large uniform buttons. Uniform button 1872 (half-curved, burnished and matte gilded, stamped and relief of an escutcheon stamped with a star placed on a lictor's beam surmounted by a variegated helmet on a background of trophy flags), diameter 2.2 cm.
Skirt in satin cloth formed of two panels at the back, assembly seam of the two parts decorated with a soubise tab in bottom cloth and presenting at the top a two-pointed head with a large uniform button on the middle of each point.
Three-pointed belt tab at the top, pierced with a buttonhole to accommodate a small uniform button.
Collar in dark blue satin sheet, 5 cm high, embroidered in threads, cannetilles and golden sequins with a row of oak leaves and bordered at the top with a scalloped baguette; it is cut square and trimmed with soft leather, lined with dark blue, almost black satin cloth.
Sleeves ending in a straight facing with a height of 7.5 cm, of the same cloth as the tunic and embroidered in threads similarly to the collar. Above the facings are sewn three silver stars.
Interior lining in black cloth. Shoulder tab strap in trimmings of threads, cannetilles and gold sequins, length 8.5 cm, width 2.2 cm).
