Embroidered with twists and gold sequins. Body embroidered with a design depicting a V-shaped stick braid bordered by a scalloped framing strip on dark blue, almost black wool velvet; escutcheon decorated with a shield with a scalloped edge, decorated with two silver-plated stars. Fringes in large matte twists.
The outline is made up of three turns: a large one in matte satin and shiny yarn rolled alternately on a cotton core; an inner second in small twisted matte Milanese, mixed with another simple shiny one; a third, of the same work, is applied below the thick one, at the beginning of the fringe. Uniform button 1872, half-curved, burnished and matt gilded, stamped in relief with a trophy made up of flags and a shield stamped with a star surmounted by a helmet, fixed at the top of the epaulet body . Strong clip placed below, in the corresponding part (this clip engages in a small gusset sewn on the uniform).
