Soubise braid in dark blue mohair wool with double stripes, lined in dark blue grained morocco. Gold metal buckles and medallions stamped in relief with the head of Medusa, bordered by a protruding frieze. Belt held closed by means of a clasp representing an S-shaped snake.
The 1922 model gold metal plates are specific to the different “golden” units: infantry, artillery, foreign legion, engineers, etc. and intended to be worn with light blue outfits with gold buttons.
