They are embroidered with twists and silver and gold sequins.
Body embroidered in gold with sticks (there is also a variant embroidered similarly to the design of the body's uniform braid), bordered with a scalloped framing rod on scarlet cloth, buttonhole bordered with an embroidered rod; silver embroidered crest is decorated with a shield, decorated with a radiant sun with in its center the face of the sun in stamped silver strip, this decoration is normally reserved for the standard bearer and second lieutenant according to the regulations of 1814 .
Double row of fringes in large twists in mixed matte and shiny silver threads. The outline is made up of three turns: a large one in matt satin and shiny yarn rolled alternately; an interior second of the same finish; a third, of the same work, is applied below the thick one, at the beginning of the fringe.

Very good condition, slight patina of the trimmings, a few moth holes in the lining.
NOTE: The rank of second lieutenant in the King's Body Guards corresponds in the cavalry of the line to the ranks of major and lieutenant-colonel.
