Barrel with five short sides with thunder dated "1810", length 102.8 cm and 108.2 cm with the breech tail, stamped "C" for Joseph de Colomb, inspector from 1795 to 1811 and "B" for Antoine Blachon , controller from 1798 to 1813, caliber 17.5 mm, bolt tail marked "Mle 1777" with the "J" of Javelle Jean-Baptiste, controller in Saint Étienne from 1808 to 1812.
Wooden frame stamped "BE" at the level of the butt on each side and also near the counter-plate, marked "St ETIENNE", stamp of reception with changed central pellet and markings (erased). Brass mouthpiece, hallmarked with a crowned "G" for Gouylloud, 1804-1806, with steel spring attachment, steel grenadière attached by a spring placed between the two bands and resting on the lower band. Brass nasturtium similarly fixed, marked "10". Brass trigger guard and counterplate stamped with the "H" surmounted by a fleuron from the reviser Hardy Jean-Baptiste in Saint Étienne, 1810-1812. Steel under-guard also stamped with the "H" surmounted by a fleuron of the reviser Hardy. Lock model year IX signed "Mre imple de St Etienne" stamped "J" of Javelle Jean-Baptiste, controller in Saint Etienne from 1808 to 1812. Steel butt plate. Steel rod.
Total length of the weapon: 1.415 m.

Quite good condition, barrel with oxidation from use, gasket springs moved according to the visible joints, broken hammer jaw screws supplied separately, a complete hammer is included with the rifle.
