Eight-sided thunder barrel (length 91.8 cm, with breech tail 98 cm) dated “1849”, registered “981”, bearing all its reception hallmarks “MN”, “*C*”, “*G *”. Breech tail engraved “Mle 1842 T”. Percussion plate marked “Mre Rle de Mutzig”. All brass fittings attached to the mount by steel springs. Blonde walnut frame registered on the stock “45/981”, marked “TULLE”, stock hallmark from the Chatellerault Manufacture dated 1854. Iron stick with nail head.
