DEPARTMENTAL LEGION OFFICER'S SHAKO PLATE, model 1814, First Restoration. 25942

Stamped gilded brass plaque representing the Arms of France surrounded by two palm leaves and topped with the royal crown. They are placed on a base in the form of a shield, the center of which is circled with a wreath of laurel leaves, and is pierced with several holes to fix the two figures indicating the number of the regiment. In the lower part, two branches of lilies are stamped in relief. H 13.3 cm, width 11.4 cm.

Fairly good condition, fleur-de-lys from the top of the crown missing, regimental number missing, the two emblems on each side of the base have been removed.
