Rectangular miniature, H 4.6 cm, width 3.6 cm (at sight).
Watercolor and gouache.
Bust portrait in dark green hunter's coat with blue piping, blue collar, epaulettes and silver buttons. He wears the knight's star of the order of the Legion of Honor and a probably German order.
The back of the frame is garnished with its two ribbons for reductions of his decorations represented on his portrait (scarlet and sky blue).
Golden brass frame, H 5.2 cm, width 4.1 cm.
