SHAKO PLATE OF THE 25TH LINE INFANTRY REGIMENT, model 1806, First Empire. 26350
Stamped and tinned brass plate, diamond-shaped (H 11.8 cm, width 10.6 cm without curvature). It is stamped in its center with the imperial eagle with outstretched wings holding the sparkling spindle of Jupiter in its claws and topped with the imperial crown. Below the eagle is stamped in relief the number “25”. The plaque is bordered by a molding with scalloped decoration.

HISTORY:
The 25th of the line: he was part of the army of Italy in 1805 for the army of Naples from 1806 to 1808, he participated in the expedition to Tuscany, Rome and the capture of Capri, he was engaged in Hungary at the Battle of Wagram.
