Iron bomb. Brass headband stamped with a flaming pomegranate framed by laurel and oak branches.
Visor lined with green waxed morocco and iron neck cover lined with black waxed morocco, both each edged with a folded brass rod astride the outer border.
Stamped brass crest composed of a mask stamped with a palmette topped with a jellyfish head in relief, the jellyfish head was pierced at the top then filled in for transformation into a firefighter; two fins struck with a decreasing series of 13 gadroons framed with pearls and drops. Each fin is attached to the bomb using two brass screws and the mask is attached to the headband using one brass screw.
Brass egret holder composed of an olive decorated with palmettes, and a socket with laurel branches and palmettes; scarlet horsehair puff.
Brass quill holder with square section, tubular shape, slightly decreasing towards the bottom.
Brass chinstraps in the shape of an intertwined 8 mounted on a leather chin strap (one of the two leathers previously changed); brass rosettes stamped with a radiant sun attached to the bomb by means of an iron screw.
Brush-shaped black horsehair mane ending in a floating tail with an apparent length of approximately 89 cm.

Quite good condition, usual oxidation on the steel parts, brush and mane at the back, some crest nuts replaced, interior of the bomb later black lacquered, crest mask pierced for transformation into a firefighter's helmet then resealed, rear egret holder, missing the interior cap.
