Model in steel plated with a sheet of brass, composed of a backrest and a breastplate.
CHESTPLATE
Plastron numbered "504" preceded by a number which has been scratched", lined with 10 brass nails and lined with a sheet of brass itself lined with 6 brass rivets. In the center is fixed a steel glory in the shape of a radiant sun on which is added an oval brass badge stamped with the imperial eagle on a sandblasted background framed by laurel branches. The breastplate is marked "Manufre Rle de Kingenthal June 1831, 1eT, 2L n° 561". (1st size, 2nd width).
Complete with its internal hooks for the padding vest.

Similarly registered on the breastplate, lined with 6 brass nails, lined with a brass plate itself lined with 6 brass rivets, trimmed at the top with two leather straps covered with a double brass chain with interlaced round rings with brass lock. Backrest marked “Manufre Rle de Kingenthal June 1831, 1eT, 2L n° 561”. (1st size, 2nd width. Leather belt with brass and steel buckle.

Very good condition, reinforcements at the back of the shoulder pads in the upper part and leather tabs at the end of the shoulder pad locks.
