Brass frame. Keyboard molded in relief of a firefighter's helmet on two crossed axes. Oval pommel decorated with foliage. Wooden handle entirely filigree brass. Brass ferrules. Triangular blade, length 62.3 cm. Wooden scabbard covered in black waxed calfskin with two brass fittings, button cap for wearing on the belt.

Bad condition, watermark replaced later, blade in very poor condition and greatly shortened, composite scabbard, leather replaced and mismatched trimmings.
