Brass frame. Guard with six branches forming an openwork shell decorated with a flaming bomb. Short-tailed cap. Black waxed calfskin handle with copper filigree. Brass ferrule decorated with a crown of foliage. Curved white blade with hollow sides, length 91 cm, hallmarked with the star-spangled “B” of inspector E.L. Borson, August 1814 - September 1816, and the “B” in a wreath of foliage of first-class inspector J.G. Bick, 1812 - May 1815. Natural buffalo tie. Scabbard modeled on the king's bodyguards, 2nd model 1816, in steel with two steel ram bracelets decorated with lines, ram studs and steel rings, brass scabbard bowl decorated with palmettes and foliage.
