Brass frame. Guard with six branches forming a shell with openwork palmette of the so-called “battle guard” model. Short-tailed cap. Wooden handle covered in black waxed calfskin with brass filigree. Brass ferrule. Straight, flat blade, engraved on its first third with military trophies and floral decorations, signed on the back “Coulaux Klingenthal”, length 87.9 cm. Scarlet wool tie. Black leather scabbard with three brass fittings decorated with lines and cut in the shape of a festoon, molded brass bail eyebolts and steel rings.
