Frame on model 1831, symmetrical one-piece, cast in brass. Quillons end with heads of mythological monsters. Pommel decorated with the uncrowned imperial eagle. Handle with 26 cords. Two-sided blade with central edge and double gutter, length 48.5 cm. Scarlet cloth tie. Black patent leather scabbard with two brass fittings with trigger guard.
