OFFICER'S NAVY SWORD BELT, model 1853-1870, Third Republic. 26529

Dark blue waxed leather with a blue silk braid with four gold stripes, belt width 3.5 cm. Oval brass plate stamped with a naval anchor surrounded by a laurel branch and an oak branch, plate height 4.5 cm, width 3.7 cm. Sword suspension strap attached to a gold brass ring.
